What is the ALPHA COURSE?
Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. Adults of all ages are welcome. There is an Alpha Course for Youth, the Workplace and Prisons too!
Learning and laughter. It is posible to learn about the Christian faith and to have fun at the same time. Join others in a relaxed atmosphere.
Pasta (or other great food). People meeting together. Each weekly session starts with fellowship, food and an opportunity to know more about each other amd make new friends.
Helping one another. Lunch is followed by a large group talk and small groups discussion. You have a chance to discuss issues raised in the talks.
Ask anything. Here's your chance to ask your questions and express your opinions. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple, too challenging, or too hostile.
Alpha is a short, practical introduction to the Christian faith. It includes ten weekly sessions each with a talk and an inspirational daylong retreat or weekend away which includes four talks. Each weekly session begins with a time of fellowship and food, a video or personal talk, and ends with an opportunity to meet in small groups to discuss the talk. Each session will be held in the Roper Baptist Church Fellowship Building, Highway 32 N. Roper, NC. Come join us on the ALPHA COURSE. Check back for dates of the next ALPHA COURSE.
